Photo Commissions

Photo Commissions

Thank you so much for your interest! Commissioning with me works slightly differently than usual. First read the terms and services (ToS) to understand how a photoshoot with me works and then read the pricing sheet for the convention you are interested in!

Don't see a convention your going to or have any questions? Feel free to send a dm to my telegram!

About Me

Hey, Bark! I'm Toast. I'm most well known for being a tie wearing golden retriever based around Boston, MA. I also somehow got enough dexterity to operate the shutter button on a camera. Professionally, I dabble my paws in something you can barely see… molecules and cellular life!

Within the fandom, I absolutely love working cons and running my furmeet… the MBTAnimals :3

You're probably here to find out more about the dog behind the tie… and this is the perfect place! You'll learn about how I got here, my camera gear, and some other random facts about myself.

"How did it happen?"

I joined the fandom the same way I joined photography. In 2020, I said "heck it… lets just try this out and see where it takes me".

Funny enough, I had a fursona lying around in my drawer for ages from a middle class assignment I had to do (yes… the class assignment was to design a fursona). It was a yellow golden retriever that sported a tie and I decided from that day onwards, his name was Toast and he was my fursona.

At the same time, I started to bring my little Sony A6400 everywhere I went; taking photos of everyday life in my hometown. They weren't the best photos, but it sparked my passion in photography.

In late 2024, I decided to uproot my life and move to Boston, MA; one of the best decisions I've ever made. After being a chronically online furry for 4 years, I started attending local meets and conventions. My first ever convention was Furpocalypse 2024. It was also my first time roaming around and taking pictures of fursuiters; something I immediately fell in love.

After attending a few cons, I decided to dip my paws in something that I was always interested in: "Convention Volunteering". After discussing with a few staffers and volunteers about how I should approach it, I reluctantly applied for Anthro New England (ANE) 2025 Volunteers to test out the waters. Next thing I knew… an ANE staff lanyard was draped around my shoulder and the start of my "staff infection". I fell in love with staffing at that convention. Although it was EXTREMELY tiring, I find so much more enjoyment in it than just attending a convention as an attendee. Heres a list of furry conventions I staffed at:

So whats the "Transit Animals"?

Oh! That must be about my Boston based furmeet: The Massachusetts Bay Transit Animals (MBTAnimals or Transit Animals for short).

At Anthrocon 2025, I had the great opprounity to talk to a few folks that run "FurRides" in different parts of the country. FurRides are basically transit oriented furmeets.

After a bluesky post that got a bit of attraction, I decided to create the MBTAnimals group chat to see if anyone would be interested. To be honest, I expected only 10-20 people joining out first furride. To my surprise, over 100 people joined over night!!!

After months of planning (and a rescheduled… thanks MBTA…) we ran our first furride: The Blue Line FurRide "It's a Beach Trip!" And right out of the gate, we had 77 confirmed attendees at our event which set a new record! Our first ever FurRide and we were instantly the biggest (and yes… I was looking at my phone the whole trip stressing at the increasing attendee count…)

We're still planning more furrides in the future so if this is something your interested in… join us!
